Chas & Dave return to the Royal Albert Hall in 2018

Chas & Dave return to the Royal Albert Hall in 2018
The Rockney legends will appear at the famous venue for the first time since their sold-out debut show there in 2014.
After being off the road for most of 2017 while Chas received treatment for cancer, the boys made a triumphant return to a Summer Stage record crowd at ‎British Summer Time, Hyde Park – with Chas back on top form.
They can’t wait to get back to the capital for a “Spring Beano”.
Tickets are on general sale from  9am on July 14th.

Don’t miss it!

Show postponements

Chas recently underwent hospital tests which revealed cancer of the oesophagus. Luckily this has been spotted at an early stage and he’ll be undergoing treatment immediately.
Chas expects to be back out on the road with Dave again soon, but in the meantime, the Potters Bar, Norwich, and Milton Keynes dates on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of February will need to be rescheduled. Apologies to ticket-holders for the inconvenience. The venues themselves will advise regarding re-scheduling/refunds etc.

Update 16/2/17; Chas has now begun his cancer treatment and has been advised to take a long rest period between treatment sessions. Unfortunately as a result of this we will also have to re-schedule all March dates apart from Blackheath on the 31st – which he should be ok for. As with the February shows the venues will advise on ticketing and refund options. We thank you for your understanding.
Chas’ treatment is going well and he’s in high spirits. He’d like to take this opportunity to once again thank you all for your incredible support and good-will and he’s looking forward to getting back on the road soon once his cancer has “slung its hook”(!)

Update 8/3/17; Chas’s treatment is progressing and he’s responding well. In order for him to be properly ‘gig-fit’ & in top form on his return Chas’s doctors have advised a longer recovery period which will put him out of action until June. Unfortunately this will mean re-scheduling all April and May dates of the current tour. As with previous postponements the venues will advise all ticket-holders on refunds or re-scheduled dates. And again, we thank you for your understanding and messages of support.
Chas says; “I’m really missing the gigs but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter all the time & it will soon be shining its beam down on me & Dave on stage come summer”.

Update 29/4/17; Chas is now at the half way point of his cancer treatment. Everything is going to plan so far and he’ll begin a five week course of radiotherapy shortly. This will require a four week convalescence period which unfortunately will mean him being unable to fulfill all dates in early to mid-june, with the return live date now being Hyde Park on June 30th. Apologies to ticket holders for those dates – especially as some of them are themselves re-scheduled dates, but it’s obviously unavoidable if Chas is to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible.
As ever, we appreciate your understanding and the venues will advise ticket holders.

Update 10/5/17; As you can imagine, Chas has been advised by his doctors to ease back slowly and to reduce his workload once his treatment is complete. This means we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel a proportion of the shows that were scheduled over the coming months. The shows affected will be Wimborne, Isle Of Wight, Hastings, Cheltenham, Kettering, Salisbury, Wakefield, Stafford, Glasgow, Dorking, Peterborough, Chester, Carlisle, Bridlington, and York. Any additional shows that are yet to be re-scheduled will also be cancelled unfortunately. We’ll be publishing a full, revised tour list for the rest of the year shortly.
The support and understanding of our fans has been brilliant as ever, and has been a great boost to Chas in his ongoing battle.
We will see you soon.
